Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Heartlisted. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use our website, our creator app, or order one of our art books. We’ve kept them in plain language because we’d rather you actually read them. By using Heartlisted, you agree to what’s below.
Heartlisted is operated by Twinkledale Studio Private Limited, registered at No. 93/52, Poes Garden, Sathyanarayana Apartments, Teynampet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu - 600018. In these terms, “Heartlisted”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Twinkledale Studio Private Limited.
1. About Heartlisted
Heartlisted turns your child’s artwork into a professionally printed keepsake art book. Our service covers uploading images, creating and editing your book, printing, and delivering it to you.
2. Who can use Heartlisted
You need to be at least 18 years old to use Heartlisted and place an order. When you upload a child’s artwork or name, you confirm that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian and that you’re allowed to submit it on their behalf.
3. Your account
If you create an account, please keep your details accurate and your login secure. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Write to us at support@heartlisted.com if you think someone else has access to it.
4. Using Heartlisted responsibly
Please use Heartlisted only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:
- Upload anything unlawful, harmful, hateful, obscene, or that infringes someone else’s rights, including copyright or privacy.
- Upload artwork or images you don’t have the right to use.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorised access to our platform, or misuse it in any way.
- Copy, modify, resell, or distribute our website, app, designs, or content without our permission.
If content is uploaded that breaks these rules, we may remove it and, where required, act on valid legal or court orders. If you believe something on Heartlisted infringes your rights, write to us at support@heartlisted.com and we’ll look into it.
5. Your artwork and content
Your child’s artwork stays yours. Uploading it to Heartlisted doesn’t transfer ownership to us.
When you upload artwork, images, or text such as your child’s name, a title, or the year, you confirm that:
- You own the rights to that content, or have permission to use and print it.
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose artwork or name you’re submitting, and you consent, on their behalf, to it being used to create your book.
You give us a limited licence to store and process your files only to create, print, and deliver the book you ordered. We will not use your child’s artwork, photos, or name for marketing or any other purpose unless you give us clear, separate permission. We don’t use children’s data for advertising or profiling.
Sharing your book
You can choose to share your book with a public link. Here’s what that means:
- Sharing is off by default. Your book becomes visible to others only when you turn sharing on.
- Anyone with your link can view your book, including the artwork, your child’s name, and any titles or captions in it. They can’t edit anything. Share the link only with people you trust, and remember that they can pass it on to others.
- When a link is pasted into a messaging or social app, that app may fetch and store a small preview. We keep those previews generic. They never include your child’s artwork or name.
- You can turn sharing off at any time in the editor, and the link stops working. Images already loaded or cached by apps and browsers may remain visible to those viewers for a short while afterwards.
- If you share a book you haven’t finished, viewers see it as it currently is, including changes you make while it’s shared.
- We may disable a shared link if we believe it’s being misused, or if the content breaks these terms or applicable law. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you why.
The limited licence you give us in this section also covers showing your book to people who open your link, only while sharing is turned on.
6. Orders, pricing, and payment
Orders are placed on our website and paid through Razorpay, our payment provider. Sensitive payment details such as your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or banking credentials are handled directly by Razorpay and don’t pass through our servers.
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
- Any delivery charges are shown clearly at checkout before you pay, so you always see the full amount.
- Once your payment is successful, you’ll receive an order confirmation by email, along with a GST-compliant invoice.
7. Cancellations, refunds, and reprints
Because every art book is made individually from your artwork, our cancellation and refund terms reflect that:
- Cancellation: You can cancel for a full refund within 1 hour of payment. After that, your order enters production and can no longer be cancelled or edited.
- Custom items: Once in production, art books are non-returnable and non-refundable for a change of mind, because they’re made just for you.
- If something’s wrong: If your book arrives with a printing or binding defect, is damaged in transit, or is the wrong item, we’ll make it right. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue, and we’ll arrange a free reprint, or a full refund where a reprint isn’t possible.
- What isn’t covered: We can’t offer refunds or reprints for things outside our control, such as incorrect images or text you uploaded, low-resolution files that affect print quality, cropping choices you made, or minor colour differences between your screen and the printed book.
- Refunds: Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–7 business days.
8. Shipping and delivery
Estimated production and delivery timelines are shown at checkout. We currently ship within India. Delivery can be affected by couriers, festivals, or other factors outside our control. We’ll do our best to keep you updated, but we’re not responsible for delays caused by our shipping partners. Our Shipping Policy has the specifics.
9. Our intellectual property
The Heartlisted name, logo, website, app, book templates, and content are owned by us and protected by law. Please don’t use them beyond what these terms allow without our written permission.
10. Things we can’t promise
We work hard to make your book beautiful, but our website and service are provided “as is”. Screens and print differ, so small variations in colour and tone between your on-screen preview and the finished book are normal and aren’t considered defects.
11. Our liability
To the extent the law allows, Heartlisted isn’t liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for errors caused by details you entered. Where we are found liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that can’t be excluded.
12. Your responsibility for uploads
If a claim is brought against us because content you uploaded was unlawful or infringed someone’s rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs we incur as a result.
13. Grievance redressal
If you have a concern or complaint, we want to hear it. In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, our Grievance Officer is:

We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days, and in any case within 1 month.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. This doesn’t take away your right as a consumer to approach a Consumer Commission where you live or work under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as our service or the law changes. We’ll always publish the latest version here, and we’ll let you know about material changes.
